Castries, Saint Lucia: Helpaws again welcomed two other tiny, fragile, defenceless puppies and asked people to adopt them.

This world can be a horrible place sometimes, especially for the innocent and defenceless, who tend to be the most vulnerable when cruelty or evil strike. Even more damning is when those they’ve grown to rely on to survive are the ones who neglect them the most.

While on a rescue mission, we were stopped and handed a brown bag. We were so curious as to what it could be. Two tiny, fragile, defenceless puppies. PG and Forest. They were extremely terrified and confused, understandably; given that they were basically sent away for reasons unknown to them. You could see the anguish and despair that they faced; utter confusion and despair upon arriving to the shelter.

Unbeknownst to them what was happening or where they were.

PG was a bit shy and hesitant at first, and somewhat around men; we are sure as a result of treatment, she suffered prior to coming to HelpAWS. But now, you would never know as she is a super-loving pup who will be the BEST addition to a person or family who is willing to be patient and work with her as she continues to come out of her shell. Once she feels comfortable with someone, she LOVES to give kisses and cuddle.

PG is very playful, and thrives when in the company of other dogs. She is a world class wrestler, with the endurance to go round after round. Because she feels most comfortable and happy when she’s in the company of another pup, she would benefit from having a canine sibling to help build her confidence. However, this is not a condition of her adoption, as we know that she will be the most loving, loyal and PERFECT companion for anyone willing to be the same to her.

Her love language is cuddles and kisses and she definitely reciprocates. She gets along great with kids, pups, kitties and other hoomans and will be able to adapt to almost any situation.

PG has been in foster care in Canada for a bit now, and is 1000% ready to find her forever home and happily ever after. If you think you might be PG’s perfect person, you can complete an adoption application by going to www.helpaws.com/adopt.
