It’s Halloween Season and even though we’re in St. Lucia where Halloween isn’t a major celebration, we still want our pups to have fun and take some cute photos of course.

So with the excitement and festivities of this years Journen Kweyol coming to a close, our pups are now enjoying the spookiness of Halloween.

Dressing up puppies in costumes is hard work, I’m sure our adopters will agree, but it’s worth it, in the end, to see them all dressed up. And can we just say how much we enjoy seeing our alumni in their costumes every year, thank you all for sharing.

This year our featured Spooky pal is Riley. The ghost with the most, wishing everyone a spooktacular Halloween, especially his fellow Dog pals.

If you or anyone you know is interested in a HelpAWS pup or our little ghost Riley visit our website at www.helpaws.com/adopt to fill in an application.

This world can be a horrible place sometimes, especially for the innocent and defenseless who tend to be the most vulnerable when cruelty or evil strike. Even more damning is when those they’ve grown to rely on to survive are the ones who neglect them the most.

While on a rescue mission, we were stopped and were handed a brown bag. We were so curious as to what it could be. Two tiny, fragile, defenseless puppies. PG and Forest. They were extremely terrified and confused, understandably; given that they were basically sent away for reasons unknown to them. You could see the anguish and despair that they faced; utter confusion and despair upon arriving to the shelter. Unbeknownst to them what was happening or where they were.
