Castries, Saint Lucia: Matches continued in the Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. Zonal Boys Club competition on Sunday, 5th February, at the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery.

Under 10 

Black Panthers defeated DCYO 3 – 0 after the match was abandoned. Lancers and Pioneers played to an exciting 1 – 1 draw. Scoring for Lancers wa Ajani Walker a penalty in the 11th min, while G’ Kai Charlemagne scored for FC Pioneers in the 35th min in Saint Lucia. 

VSADC and New Generation also played to a 1 – 1 draw. Shem Ishmael scored for New Generations in the 9th and Inson Pinel for VSADC in the 11th min.

Platinum with goals from Alrone Joseph in the 9th, 27th and 28th min, an own goal by Alesandro Popo 16th and Tye Toussaint 36th min defeated the 1987 All Stars 5 – 0.

Under 17

Monchy, with goals from Joshua Norley 38th and 56th, Dantes Louis 17th and Roshawn Estephane drew with VSADC 4 – 4, whose goals were scored by Triston Remy 20th, Ziquan Hippolyte 49th Jeanquan John 85th min. and Pinel in the Messiah Prinel in the 5th min of added on time.

On The Rock, Strikers defeated Piton Travel Young Stars 4 – 2. They got their goals from Jerbany Deterville, a hat trick in the 53rd, 58th and 84th and Bourne Innocent 46th min in Saint Lucia. 

Scoring for Piton Travel Young Stars were Jaden Francis and Barry Coqueran in the 82nd and 89th min, respectively. Uptown Rebels convincingly got past El Ninos playing with nine players 9 – 2 with the help of goals from Lindell Augustin 43rd, 77th, 79th and 80th min, Gareth Alphonse 54th, 61st and 84th min, Baheem Estephane 71st and Keyron Aldonza 86th min.

Scoring for El Ninos was Stevie Henry in the 30th and 32nd min.

Valley Soccer overwhelmed the 1987 All-Stars. They were indebted to a hat trick from Mervin St Romain16th, 20th, 29th, Mervin Charlemagne, 55th and 79th min and the others from Rivaldo Charlemagne 42nd, Klay Dorius 51st, Tayari Mathurin 64th, and Rawson Harris 72nd min.

Elsewhere, matches continue in the SLFA Inc. Island Cup, Premier League on Monday 6th, February. Over at Soufriere Mini Stadium, La Clery plays Mabouya Valley at 6.45 pm, Down at the Desruisseaux Playing Field, Canaries plays Gros Islet at 6.45 pm and Central Castries play Dennery at 8.45 pm in Saint Lucia.Â
