Saint Lucia: Ernest Hilaire presents credit reporting motion in house of assembly 

Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia- Ernest Hilaire presented the Credit Reporting Motion in the national house of assembly on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Castries, Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia- Ernest Hilaire presented the Credit Reporting Motion in the national house of assembly on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. 

He stated that Motion to guarantee a life of credit from First National Bank Saint Lucia Limited to the Millennium Heights Medical Complex in the amount of XCD22,650,000.00. While sharing an update on his presentation in the National Assembly of Saint Lucia, Deputy PM Ernest Hilaire dropped a video clip where he was speaking about the Motion and highlighted its significance. 

Outlining the bill, Deputy Prime Minister added,”Have a listen to my contribution on the Motion to guarantee a line of credit from 1st National Bank Saint Lucia Limited to the Millennium Heights Medical Complex in the amount of XCD22,650,000.00.” 

He further emphasised the significance of the Motion and added that it will help the people to cover working capital, operational expenses for the purchase of new equipment and many more. 

The Motion will also make it easier for the people to pay off existing debt for consultancy services as these services were taken out by the previous government. 

“This will assist with covering working capital, operational expenses for the purchase of new equipment and to pay off existing debt for consultancy services taken by the previous government, “Deputy PM Ernest Hilaire added. 

Earlier, Deputy PM Hilaire took to Facebook and invited the citizens to stay tuned in with the proceedings of the House of Assembly. He stated that the sitting of the House of Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, 2023, with Papers to be laid by Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Economic Development and the Youth Economy and Minister for Justice and National Security, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information and the Honourable Minister for Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs.
