The 2023 Ministry of Youth Development and Sports Secondary Schools 50 Over Cricket Tournament in Saint Lucia continued on Friday, March 3, with one match.
At the Gros Islet Playing Field, Corinth Secondary completed an 82 run victory over Sir Ira Simmons Secondary. Corinth Secondary, batting first, made 155 all out in 23.5 overs with Jean dell Cyril 33, Neil Poyotte 23 and Ethan Perineau 10.
The wicket-takers for Sir Ira Simmons Secondary were; Jesse George with3 for 15 in 4 overs, female player Selena Ross 2 for 37 in 6.5 overs and 1 wicket each to Russel Cadette, Jarvis Weekes and Tayshaun Gervais.
In reply, Sir Ira Simmons was bowled out for 73 in 20.3 overs, with Jesse George making 13. The wicket takers for Corinth Seconday were; Neil Poyotte, with impressive figures of 7 for 19 in 5.3 overs and one wicket each to Jeandell Cyril, captain Jaden Khodra and Roystan Fannis.

The Saturday morning Northern Cluster Grassroots Cricket Development Program continued on February 25, 2023 with another exciting and intense cricket enhancement and development training session at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia.
The programme took the following format:
* Prayers/ Welcome
* Warm up activities
* Catching/ Fielding drills.
* Physical Conditioning.
* Batting drills
* Nets.
* Younger participants ages 11 years and under were engaged in game sense in batting & bowling).
* Mini cricket match.
The coaches who facilitated the training session were Allian Asby and Stuart Calderon.
The Northern Cluster Grassroots/ Ministry of Youth Development and Sports/ Gros Islet Community After-school Cricket Training Program continued on Friday February 24, 2023 with a Beach Recovery Session on the Reduit Beach in Saint Lucia.
