Castries, Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia and Taiwan will once again collaborate to provide increased trading investment opportunities to our St. Lucian businesses.
The 15th Annual St. Lucia – Taiwan Partnership Trade show, scheduled for November 2nd -4th, 2022, at the Harbor Club Hotel, will feature physically or virtually, forty-five Saint Lucian companies and twenty-three Taiwanese companies, leveraging existing and new opportunities across sectors that include food and beverage, ICT services, Energy Efficiency, Health and Beauty, Automobile Parts and Accessories, Creative Arts, Business and Consumer Services among others.
To encourage participation among the Secondary Schools, the Ministry has launched a video competition among all secondary school students. Students are asked to create a short promotional video on the St. Lucia-Taiwan Partnership Tradeshow and # the Ministry of Commerce’s Facebook Page.
The student whose post garners the most likes will win a laptop computer for him/herself and a router for his/her school. The deadline for uploading videos is Wednesday, October 26, 2022 and the winner will be announced at the St. Lucia-Taiwan Partnership Tradeshow on Friday, November, 4, 2022. The Ministry applauds IslandTEK for making these prizes possible.
The Ministry encourages business owners, potential entrepreneurs, persons looking for investment opportunities, students and other members of the public to come out to support and experience the creativity of the participating companies at the 15th Annual St. Lucia – Taiwan Partnership Trade show.
