READ SCHEDULE: 56th Big South Regatta 2023 returned in Turks and Caicos

Caribbean: The 56th Big South Regatta 2023 has returned to the land of South Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands from May 25 to May 28, 2023. The theme of the festival is Reviving our culture from the past, in the present, for the future. 

interCaribbean Airways took to Facebook and shared the schedule of the events. It invited the patrons to celebrate the highlight of the year. Airways added, ”The 56th Big South Regatta 2023 is here! The oldest festival in the Turks and Caicos Islands celebrates 56 years, “Reviving our culture from the past, in the present, for the future!”. Let’s join to celebrate the highlight of the year in the Turks and Caicos Islands.”

On Thursday, May 25, 2023: 

• 7: 00 pm- Miss Teen Regatta
• 11: 00 pm- Music by DJ Kills

On Friday, May 26, 2023: 

• 3: 00 pm- Party Starts at Airport with DJ Kills
• 4: 00 pm- Float Parade starts at the airport and ends at Conch Ground
• 8: 00 pm- Miss Regatta
• 12 midnight- Music by DJ Pop
• 12: 30 am Ugly Wille
• 1: 00 am- International Soca Artist Lyrikal
• 2: 00 am- Music by VG Band
• 3: 00 am- Music by DJ Pop
• 4: 00 am: Junkanoo/Masses throughout the Town

On Saturday, May 27, 2023:

• 8: 00 am- Breakfast from Local Vendors
• 10: 00 am- All-day family fun day with cultural activities
• 12 noon- Music by DJ Space
• 12: 10 pm: Sailboat races off Jetty
• 1: 00 pm: Music by Provision Band
• 1: 45 pm: Music by GEMMA
• 2: 30 pm: Mikey and Kool-Aid along with Provision Band
• 3: 00 pm- Music by DJ Pop
• 3: 30 pm- International Bahamian Artist KB the Entertainer
• 4: 30 pm- Junkanoo
• 5: 00 pm- Music by DJ Space
• 8 pm- Music by Sagittarius Band
• 10 pm- Until Music by DJ Pop and DJ Space

On Sunday, May 28, 2023: 

• 9: 00 am: Sunday Morning Service with the Executive Committee
