Montserrat: The government of Montserrat shared a The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Calendar of Activities. Montserrat joins in celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, marking her 70 year reign.

A number of activities are planned as part of the observance; some activities have already started. View the calendar here:

• From May 9, 2022, to June 3, 2022: There will be Radio Snippers in order to honour Queen Platinum Jubliee.
• From May 15, 2022, to May 25, 2022: The name of the event will be Small Media Ceremonies with different Agencies.
• From May 25, 2022, to June 1, 2022: The Radio Quizzes will be held in Montserrat.
• On May 27, 2022: Radio and TV Discussion– Spotlight: The Queen’s Platinum Jubliee will be held in a series of activities.

Children’s Parties:

• On Monday, May 30, 2022: There will be a party for the Bardes Primary Scholl from around 12 pm to 3 pm.
• On Tuesday, May 31, 2022: There will be a party for the Lookout Primary School from around 12 pm to 3 pm.
• On Wednesday, June 1, 2022: There will be a party for the St Augustine Primary School from 12 pm to 3 pm.

Tree Planting:

• On Thursday, June 2, 2022: There will be an event named ist of 7 trees at 10 am at Montserrat National Trusts Eco Play Children’s Park.
• Others tress planting dates to be announced.
• Thursday, June 2, 2022: There will be Queen’s Platinum Jubliee Beacon Lightning Ceremony around 8 pm at Little Bay Park.
• On Friday, June 3, 2022: There will be Queen’s Birthday Parade which is a full ceremony and will be held at around 8 am in Salen Park.
• On Saturday, June 4, 2022: There will be Queen’s Birthday Party which will be held around 6 pm invites only.
• For July 2022 to September 2022: There will be Schoo;l’s Poetry and Art Competition.
