India: General Secretary of All India Congress Committee- Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, condemned the hazardous situation of people living in Gaza. She said that she was getting out of words to explain the situation taking place in the Gaza Strip.
Priyanka Gandhi said that the horror picture of Gaza has shaken the core of her soul. She also expressed her disappointment with the lack of efforts made by the superpowers in controlling the situation.
She said that the big and developed countries have failed to take stringent steps to combat crimes which are being committed on such a higher scale. While expressing a feeling of shame, Priyanka Gandhi said,” As a woman, a mother, a human being, I am ashamed that the world is allowing these crimes to be committed with such impunity.”
She also demanded the immediate stoppage of the adverse situation in Gaza. Priyanka Gandhi added, ” The bombing of hospitals, the murder of children, the blockading of food, water and medicines to civilians….there are no words strong enough to condemn the horror that is taking place in Gaza.”

Besides this, a Member of the All India Congress Committee- Rahul Gandhi, also joined Priyanka Gandhi in criticizing the killing of thousands in Gaza.
He said that the cutting of food, water and electricity is against humanity. The cycle of violence should be stopped with immediate effect.
Further, he also condemned the killing of Israelis. Rahul Gandhi said,” Hamas’ killing of innocent Israelis and taking hostages is a crime and must also be condemned.”
Gandhi added that the killing of thousands of innocent civilians, including children in Gaza and the collective punishment of millions of people by cutting off their food, water and electricity are crimes against humanity.
“The cycle of violence between Israel and Palestine must be brought to an end,” said Rahul Gandhi.
Gaza Situation
Gaza has been attacked by Israel with extreme bombing. In the last ten days, the situation at the location has become hazardous due to the destruction of schools and hospitals.
The relentless bombing caused the displacement of around a million people. Besides this, the aid agencies have declared an emergency due to the shortage of medical supplies in the besieged enclave.
The agencies have also warned of a “catastrophic” situation in Gaza. Israel said that they had given a response to the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023. The attack has left 1300 Israelis dead. Since then, the supply of water, power and fuel has been cut off, trapping 2.3 million people.
Since 7 October, the World Health Organization has documented 111 attacks on health care. 12 health workers have been killed on duty. Health care must be protected.
