Premier Brantley & many world leaders wish Grenada on its 47 Independence

Grenada: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation St. Kitts and Nevis and Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley wishes Grenada on its 47 Independence day.

In his message, Brantley said, “Wishing all our brothers and sisters from Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique a Happy Independence Day today.”

Apart from him, many global leaders wish Grenada on its auspicious occasions.

In a statement through its embassy, the US said, “The United States appreciates Grenada’s regional leadership and partnership as we work toward greater security, prosperity, and democracy. This past year, the U.S. government contributed more than $6 million to construct emergency operations centers in Grenada and Carriacou to boost their preparedness and disaster response capabilities.

Also,” We have stood together to fight COVID-19 as the United States donated masks, gloves, hazmat suits, and other personal protection equipment to help keep the Grenadian people safe. We also partnered with the Royal Grenada Police Force Coast Guard to upgrade its nearshore interceptor vessels as part of our work together to improve security for citizens of Grenada and the region.”

It noted,” The United States values the strong relationship between our two countries and wishes the citizens of Grenada a happy Independence Day.”

Ukraine also extends its warm wishes; it said Happy Independence Day to Grenada and our government colleagues.

 Wishing peace and success to the people of Grenada, we look forward to furthering fruitful cooperation both on the bilateral & multilateral level for the benefit of our countries.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid, also sends a message of felicitations to Oliver Joseph, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and CARICOM Affairs of Grenada, on their Independence Day.

 Abdulla Shahid said,” “On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Maldives, it gives me great joy to extend warm greetings and good wishes to Your Excellency and the people of Grenada, on the occasion of your Independence Day.”

He added, “I am confident that the bilateral ties between our two countries will continue to prosper and further strengthen in the years to come.”
