St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew departed from St Kitts and Nevis from his first official visit to Dubai on November 29, 2022. He will conduct the visit for four days till Saturday, December 3, 2022. Minister of Tourism- Marsha Henderson, Attorney-General, Garth Wilkin; Cabinet Secretary Dr Marcus Natta; Sylvester Anthony and Veira Galloway have accompanied the prime minister. 

Prime Minister Terrance Drew took to social media and stated, “I will be conducting my first official visit to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from today, Tuesday, November 29 2022, to Saturday, December 3 2022.”  

The aim of the visit is to create numerous opportunities for the Federation to show the world that it is open for business. PM Terrance Drew will also showcase that the Federation is ready to attract investors who seek mutually beneficial relationships with the nation.

The objective is to identify new areas of partnership in advancing economic recovery and stability and reaffirming the solid foundation between the two nations.

St Kitts and Nevis Embassy will host an exclusive cocktail event on Thursday, December 1 2022, for the delegation to meet with investors, citizens, and business partners.

During the visit, PM Terrance Drew will also look forward to the various areas to advance economic recovery and stability. The reaffirmation of the solid foundation between the two countries will also be discussed. 

Prime Minister Terrance Drew will ensure the betterment of the relationship between the countries during the trip. The visit will strengthen the relationships with the important stakeholders, which included international investors and government-approved agents, who play significant role in promoting and supporting the country’s recently upgraded CBI Programme

PM Terrance Drew cited, “Dubai has successfully managed to gain the title of world-class financial hub. The multicultural city has two/thirds of the world’s population within reach on flights of eight hours or less, allowing it to serve as a nexus for the East and West, along with being in the heart of the Africa-Middle East-Asia triangle.”Â
