St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis- Dr Terrance Drew, shared glimpses of the two-day “Land Fair” on Thursday, February 9, 2023. He expressed pleasure in interacting with the landowners and discussing queries related to land distribution.
PM Terrance Drew took to Facebook and dropped the snapshots of the Land Fair which took place from February 9, 2023, to February 10, 2023. The fair featured several representatives from National Housing Corporation (NHC), the Treasury, Lands & Survey, Physical Planning, Urban Planning, Development Control and Planning Corporation and the Sustainable Land Management Unit.
He cited, “The Ministry of Sustainable Development is hosting a two-day Land Fair at the Bladen’s Parking Lot. There are several representatives from National Housing Corporation (NHC), the Treasury, Lands & Survey, Physical Planning, Urban Planning, Development Control and Planning Corporation and the Sustainable Land Management Unit.”
PM Terrance Drew called it a perfect platform to discuss any questions or concerns related to the distribution of lands in St Kitts. He encouraged the people to visit on Friday, February 10 2023 and take advantage of this opportunity.
The Ministry of Sustainable Development is hosting a two-day Land Fair at the Bladen’s Parking Lot, where representatives of various agencies are on site to answer all questions related to the distribution of lands in St Kitts.
Agencies on hand at the fair are the National Housing Corporation (NHC), the Treasury, Lands & Survey, Physical Planning, Urban Planning, Development Control and Planning Corporation and the Sustainable Land Management Unit.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and Minister responsible for Sustainable Development Dr Joyelle Clarke, who were both present, thanked individuals for coming out and taking advantage of this unique opportunity.
Along with that, Minister for Sustainable Development, Environment, Climate Action & Constituency Empowerment- Joyelle Clarke also shared glimpses of the Land Fair and stated that Day 1 of the Ministry of Sustainable Development’s Land Allocation, Normalization and Distribution (L.A.N.D) Fair to address all matters relating to land.
She stated that the Land Fair ended on January 10, 2023, between the hours of 9:30 am and 5 pm at Bladen Commercial Development Parking Lot.
