St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis- Dr Terrance Drew shared the glimpses of his branch meeting for the constituency 8 hosted in the Conaree district on Sunday, February 26, 2023. The meeting was held at Conaree Community Centre at 4: 30 pm under the theme- Keeping Connected with PM Terrance Drew.
The branch meeting featured the discussion on the various matters of the concern between the citizens of Conaree district and the prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis. PM Drew launched the meeting in order to get connected with the common people of the Federation.
The initiative dubbed Branch Meeting- #Keeping Connected with PM Terrance Drew has been launched by him in order to host interactive engagement with the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis. The first meeting was held in his own constituency 8 where the residents of Conaree district shared their concerns and matters with the prime minister.
During the meeting, the citizens have shared their ideas, and views on different matters such as education, employment generation, housing, health, infrastructure and agriculture. PM Terrance Drew take out various questions and comments of the citizens and extended full support and assurance to the citizens.
He also met with the senior citizens of St Kitts and Nevis and outline his plans and programmes. PM Terrance Drew stressed that he promised the overall development and betterment of the people of the Federation.
PM Terrance Drew took to social media and stated, ”Greetings. Keeping connected as a constituency means we remain together in the interest of growth and development for the betterment of our communities and residents.”
He added that the democracy always strengthened with the two way communication between the representative and its citizens. PM Drew also extended gratitude to the citizens to attend their first branch meeting for the new year.
PM Drew added, ”Your questions, comments and ideas are critical in this area. Thanks to all of you who attended our first branch meeting for the new year, hosted in the Conaree district on Sunday 26th February.”
He dropped the snapshots of the meeting where he could be seen interacting with the people and holding discussion on serious matters related to the development of St Kitts and Nevis.
