PM Skerrit, Melissa Skerrit congratulate students for excelling Grade Six National Assessment 

The result of the Grade Six National Assessment 2022 was announced on Monday, July 11, 2022. In the results, the first Grade was bagged by the student- Danelle Ferreira from St Martin Primary School.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica– Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, extended warm and heartiest greetings to the students who excelled at the Grade Six National Assessment 2022. 

The result of the Grade Six National Assessment 2022 was announced on Monday, July 11, 2022. In the results, the first Grade was bagged by the student- Danelle Ferreira from St Martin Primary School. 

The second position was secured by Jonathan Theophile from St Mary’s Primary School, whereas the third position was held by Makayla Horsford from St Martin’s Primary School. 

The student named Jehovanny Hill from Berean Christian Academy, Sienna Andrew from St Martin Primary, Naima Sorhaindo from Goodwill Primary, Currelle Esprit from Paix Bouche Primary, Kai Ke Christian Union Primary School, Emmanuel Drigo from Convent Preparatory and Osa Marie Hunter from Pioneer Preparatory School were the students who gained top grades in the National Assessment Exam 2022. 

Through his social media, Prime Minister Skerrit penned down his greetings and extended best wishes to the students for their future endeavours. 

PM Roosevelt Skerrit noted, “I extend my heartiest congratulations

 to the students who excelled at the Grade Six National Assessment, 2022.” 

He further congratulated the parents, teachers and principals who contributed to their success. As the 2022 cohort of students move on to secondary school, he prayed God blesses their efforts always.

PM Skerrit extended best wishes to all.

Further, Parliamentary Representative for Roseau Central Constituency- Melissa Poponne Skerrit to Jonathan Theophille on copping the highly sought-after second-place position at the Grade Six National Assessment. 

She expressed pleasure to be the teacher of such a marvellous student and stated, “You were a student of my National Assessment Champions program, and you have led with a superb performance. You have proven that diligence and a commitment to excellence will always lead to success.” 

Melissa Skerrit extended special thanks to the tutors, Cathy Robinson and Labad, for their continued exemplary work with the champions.

Moreover, she also applauded Makayla Horsford for attaining the coveted third-place position at the Grade Six National Assessment. 

Melissa Skerrit expressed, “It brings me such delight to extend my heartiest congratulations to Makayla Horsford on attaining the coveted third-place position at the Grade Six National Assessment.” 

She said that Horsford has made me even more proud as you are a four-year recipient of the Melissa Skerrit Foundation scholarship program and a student of the Roseau Central family.

While applauding the student, she underlined, “You applied yourself to your work, gave the examination your best shot, and your persistence has paid off! You have made your parents proud. Great job, Tara.” 

She extended congratulations to all the other students who sat this exam. They worked hard, and now they are reaping the rewards of their hard work.
