PM Roosevelt Skerrit to pay official visit to Cuba for three days

In the interaction with the Cuban authorities, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will discuss major topics that will help to further build and uplift the multiple exchanges between the two countries.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, will be visited Cuba to discuss effective ways to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries. The visit of PM Skerrit could happen in the coming weeks. 

In addition to his visit to another region, PM Skerrit is also scheduled to visit Latin America between April 24 to April 27. He will be accompanied by Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs.

In the interaction with the Cuban authorities, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will discuss major topics that will help to further build and uplift the multiple exchanges between the two countries. 

Further, the foreign Ministry of Cuba, the government organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, have announced the official visit of Prime Minister Skerrit through the Twitter social media handle. 

As per the announcement, “The Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Resilience, Economic Affairs, Investment, Planning, Sustainable Development, Telecommunications and Broadcasting of the Commonwealth of Dominica, will pay an official visit to Cuba from April 24 to 27.”

So as per the information, various other officials of the Commonwealth of Dominica will also join PM Skerrit in his visit to Cuba. 

It further added, “The distinguished visitor will hold talks with Cuban authorities and carry out other activities.”

In the Cuban language, the message on the Twitter reads,”Visitará Cuba Roosevelt Skerrit, primer ministro y ministro de Finanzas, Resiliencia, Asuntos Económicos, Inversión, Planificación, Desarrollo Sostenible, Telecomunicaciones y Radiodifusión de la Mancomunidad de Dominica.”

Earlier, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit paid several visits to Latin American countries. The last time he attended the third Ministerial Meeting between Cuba and the Caribbean Community. 

In addition to that, Prime Minister Skerrit also visited Jose Marti International Airport, where he was welcomed by Deputy Prime Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra.
