PM Roosevelt Skerrit extends wishes on Labour day 

So, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit also joined other leaders to express his appreciation to the workers and labourers who have done or doing incredible work in their respective fields. He stated that everyone should honour the people who are making efforts to uplift the country by uplifting their respective fields.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, extended his warm wishes and blessings on the auspicious occasion of Labour Day. 

On Monday, May 2, 2022, Labour Day was celebrated across the globe to appreciate the labourers who have worked hard to uplift the different sectors. 

So, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit also joined other leaders to express his appreciation to the workers and labourers who have done or doing incredible work in their respective fields. He stated that everyone should honour the people who are making efforts to uplift the country by uplifting their respective fields. 

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit noted, “Today, We honour the hardworking men and women who are making this country stronger, safer for each one of us.”

He stated that various health workers, police personnel, construction workers, and many more had worked incredibly to promote and better the country in a different fields. 

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit exclaimed, “Our health workers, police personnel, construction workers & many others continued working to ensure that we all are safe even amidst a pandemic.”

Labour Day is known as an annual day through which the entire globe celebrates the achievements of workers in different fields. The days have been stated during the labour union movements, which were commenced by the labourers for eight hours a day. The time was dedicated to the eight hours that labourer is given their specific work, eight for recreation and eight hours for rest.
