PM Pierre leaves St Lucia for his business trip to Florida

Further, as per the reports on the Facebook page of the government of St Lucia, Prime Minister Philip J Pierre leaves the country on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, due to his business trip. The business trip has been organized by the government of St Lucia in order to facilitate his attendance at the series of meetings in Florida.

St Lucia: Prime Minister Philip J Pierre has left St Lucia on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, for a business trip to Florida. The trip will feature various series of topics that will be discussed by the prime minister with the different delegations in Florida. 

Further, as per the reports on the Facebook page of the government of St Lucia, Prime Minister Philip J Pierre leaves the country on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, due to his business trip. The business trip has been organized by the government of St Lucia in order to facilitate his attendance at the series of meetings in Florida

The government of St Lucia noted, “The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Hon. Philip J. Pierre is scheduled to leave Saint Lucia on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022. This government business trip is to facilitate his attendance at a series of meetings in Florida.”

The business trip will be concluded on April 8th, 2022 as Prime Minister of St Lucia Philip J Pierre is scheduled to return to the country. 

Further, in the absence of Prime Minister Philip J Pierre, the administration of the government of the country will be handled by the Parliamentary Representative of Castries constituency and Deputy Prime Minister of St Lucia Ernest Hilaire. So, from April 5, 2022, to April 8, 2022, as per the schedule of the business trip of the Prime Minister, the people of the country will work under the administration of Hilaire. He will act as the Prime Minister of St Lucia.

Eralier, Prime Minister Philip J Pierre presented the bugdet for 2022/23 in the Parlimament. Ernest Hilaire stated the budget presented by PM Pierre was the longest budget in history. 

The Estimates for Revenue and Expenditure Statement is the precursor to the Budget Address, which will facilitate the introduction of the Appropriation Bill to Parliament on April 26, 2022.

PM Pierre noted, “We will pursue the initiatives and programmes funded in this budget to bring transformative change that will impact the lives and livelihoods of our citizens and we will put the people first.”

He further invited the people of the country to view the first presentation of Prime Minister Pierre on the Estimates for Revenue and Expenditure as Prime Minister.
