Castries, Saint Lucia: Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Saint Lucia- Philip J Pierre will present Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for 2023/24 on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 4: 00 pm. The presentation will be live streamed.

Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire took to Facebook and stated that the government of Saint Lucia is committed to the welfare of the people. He said that the bill will have well being and success of all the citizens.
“We made a commitment to the people of Saint Lucia to put them first in all our decisions. This presentation of the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for 2023/24 by the Prime Minister will have the well-being and success of all Saint Lucians at its core. Tune in tomorrow at 4 pm, “said the deputy prime minister.
The House of Assembly of Saint Lucia will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 4: 00 pm and the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for the period 2023-2024 will be laid by Philip J. Pierre, Prime Minister, and Minister for Finance.
The estimates will feature the report on the revenue that the government is planning to raise as well as the maximum amount it intends to spend during the fiscal year 2023-2024 in accordance with the provisions of the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, No. 14 of 2020.
The Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure will also outline annual spending plans of the Government agencies, projected revenue collections, and programme performance information. The Ministry for Finance will also highlight the fiscal position of the country including current surplus/deficit, primary balance, overall surplus/deficit, total revenue, and expenditure.
The Debate on the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure will commence from Wednesday, March 29th – 30th, 2023, and will be carried live on NTN/GIS and radio, Rhythm FM 95.5.
