St Lucia: The government of St Lucia will participate in COP 26, which will be held in Glasgow to find ways to tackle transformational projects for the country, said Prime Minister Philip J Pierre during his meeting with Anne-Marie Trevelyan, UK’s State Minister (Minister for Energy, Clean Growth and Climate Change).
Areas of the discussion centred around economic infrastructure projects, building climate resilience, tourism, crime reduction and the youth economy. The 26th session of the Conference of Parties (COP 26) was scheduled to take place from November 9-19 November 2020 in Glasgow, UK. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic COP 26 would take place on 1-12 November 2021.
