India: Prime Minister of India- Narendra Modi shared the inspiring story of Australian Trade and Tourism Minister Don Farrell. During his launch with Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese, he added that he got to know about Farrell’s teachers had migrated from Goa to Australia.

While taking to Twitter, PM Modi stated that the anecdote depicted the rich history between India and Australia. Highlighting some aspects, he pointed out that Ebert, her husband and her daughter Leonie migrated from Goa to Australia in 1950s and started teaching there. After that Ebert’s daughter even became the president of the South Australian Institute of Teachers.

In another Tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined that he was pleased to underline the rich cultural connection between India and Australia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received thanks note from Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Saturday in which he hailed the prime minister of India for his significant contribution to making his Australian delegation feel welcome in India.

He said that he is very thankful to PM Modi for showing welcoming and friendly nature to the Australian delegation when they visit India. Along with that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held a meeting with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese on Friday at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

Australian PM also conducted the meeting with the external affairs minister of India S Jaishankar. Both meetings featured a discussion on various matters of concern and held friendly bilateral talks. In order to improve and strengthen the relationship between the two countries, both leaders have discussed ways to mitigate several global issues.

After that, PM Modi along with the Australian PM addressed the joint press conference and referred to the relationships between the two countries as multifaceted. Anthony said that the meetings will help to further enhance the cooperation across many sectors.

Both the leaders have also watched the first day of the final test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 in India.
