Grenada: As the general elections of Grenada are scheduled to be held on June 23, 2022, Prime Minister of Grenada- Keith Mitchell has penned down to encourage the people to cast their vote. 

Prime Minister Keith Mitchell noted, “My friends, in a few hours, the polls will open, and you will have an opportunity to elect your parliamentary representatives for a new term in office.” 

While emphasizing the significance of the vote, Prime Minister Mitchell stated that it is an opportunity for the people of Grenada to elect the parliamentary representative for the new term in the office of the Prime Minister. 

PM Mitchell further encouraged all eligible and registered voters to exercise their democratic right to vote and stated that it is the time for the people of Grenada to abide by the laws to conduct the vicinity of polling stations. 

He said, “I encourage all eligible and registered voters to exercise their democratic right to vote. I also encourage you to abide by the laws of the land as they relate to your conduct in the vicinity of polling stations.” 

Prime Minister Keith Mitchell stressed that they are perfect candidates for the people of Grenada as they will work for the future of the beloved country and are willing to make the right choice. 

PM Mitchell asserted, “Let us all demonstrate that we are serious about the future of our beloved country and that we are willing to make the right choice.”

As the general elections of Grenada are scheduled to be held on June 23, 2022, the government of the Caribbean country has shared an update on the voter identification card on the day of the general elections. Through the press release, the government has informed the people about the only form of identification that will be presented on the respective day of the elections. 

As per the press release of the government of Grenada, “The Parliamentary Elections Office (PEO) wishes to advise that the ONLY form of the identification that shall be presented on election day is the voter identification card issued by the Parliamentary Elections Office.”
