PM Harris attends award ceremony of graduated students of Verchild’s High School

Prime Minister Timothy Harris has been invited as a special guest by the authorities of the school. The authorities want Prime Minister to encourage the students and wish them a glorious career.

St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris has visited the award ceremony of the Verchild’s High School in St Kitts and Nevis on Sunday, March 27, 2022. 

The Verchild’s High Scholl has organized the award ceremony in the observance of the students who have completed their graduation on Sunday. 

Prime Minister Timothy Harris has been invited as a special guest by the authorities of the school. The authorities want Prime Minister to encourage the students and wish them a glorious career.  

Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris is among specially invited guests sharing in the joy and excitement of the fifth-form students of Verchild’s High School who are today graduating.

He also awarded the students for their spectacular performance in the school. Prime Minister Harris is joined at the commencement and prize-giving ceremony by Minister of Education Jonel Powell; Parliamentary Representative for Constituency #4, Lindsay Grant; the Akilah Byron-Nisbett, senior education officials. 

Further, the awards ceremony has also been attended by the family, friends, and loved ones of the graduating class.

Prime Minister and all the other guests have encouraged the students and outlined the importance of education. 

The Prize- Giving Ceremony was held under the theme “Celebrating Our Vision Igniting Dreams.”

Earlier on (March 23), Prime Minister Timothy Harris have visited the Pro-Cathedral of St. George, Basseterre. He was accompanied by the other Cabinet colleagues of the government of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis and the Team Unity. 

The other guests who have joined Prime Minister Timothy Harris were Akilah Byron-Nisbett, Wendy Phipps, and Cabinet Secretary Josephine Huggins joined worshippers at the Pro-Cathedral of St. George, Basseterre, for another midday Lenten Service.

They have visited the church for another day’s Lenten Service. 

The Wednesday Lenten Services, organized by the St Kitts Christian Council, are being held under the theme “Returning to our First Love”. 

Prime Minister Timothy Harris also outlined the importance of love during his visit.
