PM Gaston Browne meets 7 Caribbean contestants of Ms Jaycees Queen title

Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne met with the seven Caribbean contestants who will be participating in Ms Jaycees Queen title.

Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda- Gaston Browne met with the seven Caribbean contestants who will be participating in Ms Jaycees Queen title. Various Caribbean countries such as Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Haiti, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago will be participating in the event. 

The event will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 8 pm. 

On Monday, July 25 2022, the seven (7) Caribbean contestants vying for the Ms Jaycees Queen title paid Prime Minister Gaston Browne a courtesy visit at his office on Queen Elizabeth Highway.

Prime Minister Browne wished each delegate every success as they sought to represent their respective countries to the best of their abilities and reminded the contestants that this pageant represents Caribbean Unity.

The Caribbean pageant, a product of JCI Antigua, has been a staple in Antigua and Barbuda’s Carnival festivities over the last 59 years.

Under the theme, “Unleashing the potential within, through resilience and determination”, the highly anticipated pageant will see crown contenders from Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Haiti, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago competing at the ARG on Wednesday, July 27 from 8 pm.

Ms. Briana Anthony is representing Antigua and Barbuda.

The Miss Jaycees Queen show was established in 1961 by JCI Antigua, and it is one of the longest-running pageants in the Caribbean region.
