Our 2022 will be better as compared to 2021: PM Harris

The Federation of St Kitts & Nevis has been struggling against the global pandemic caused by COVID-19. Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris is ensuring the people of the nation that his government is devoted to the selfless service of the country’s people and is working all the way to make the new year of 2022 a better year for everyone than was their 2022.

PM Harris on Sunday said, “our tomorrow, our new year must be better than the previous one, as we serve a God that is abundantly able to make it better. Most people due to lockdowns were not able to enjoy full year’s work, but our new year with God’s grace can be better for you and your family.”

Dr Harris made these words at the House of Deliverance New Testament Church of God on Main Street, Tabernacle Village, where he joined the leadership and members of his hometown church for Sunday prayers. Senior Pastor Octavia Charles-Warner has delivered the Sermon.

“For those who are hoping for houses, 2022 can be a better year for you as well,” as per the announcement made by the Prime Minister. “We came forward, for example in our budget, $10 million-plus to help National Housing Corporation (NHC) to build out some houses for people so that 2022 could be a better year as compared to 2021.”

He further added that the government would provide the most needy with 15 homes in Mansion by the end of this month. The houses would have been incomplete without the help of the Government of Venezuela, as per PM Harris, and interviews will be completed by this week. By the 28th or around, a handing-over ceremony will be organized. While speaking, he said those who will be benefitted under this will undoubtedly be blessed with better 2022 than 2021.”
