Nevis: Premier Mark Brantley to discuss “Sudden Cardiac Arrest” issue in On the Mark 

The next edition of the “On the Mark” episode will discuss the “Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Heart Health”. Premier of Nevis- Mark Brantley, will host the session with special guest Dr Charlier Rouse, MD, FACC.

Nevis: The next edition of the “On the Mark” episode will discuss the “Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Heart Health”. Premier of Nevis- Mark Brantley, will host the session with special guest Dr Charlier Rouse, MD, FACC. 

The episode will be broadcast on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 8: 30 pm. The discussion will revolve around the reason behind the sudden cardiac arrest and its consequences. Premier Mark Brantley will also shed focus on major points of Heart Health. 

Besides this, the discussion will also point out the solutions to heart problems. There will also be an important discussion about cardiac health with Dr Charlier Rouse as she is President and CEO West Georgian Cardiology Co-Founder, The Rouse Foundation. 

Premier Mark Brantley took to Facebook and shared an update about the programme. He invited the citizens to listen to the discussion so that the problems could be resolved. Several topics will be included in the discussions to address sudden heart strokes. 

Premier Brantley said, ”As we continue to celebrate Independence 40 please join us this Wednesday on On the Mark on VON Radio for an important discussion about cardiac health with Dr Charlie Rouse who continues to do excellent work through The Rouse Foundation. “ 

The Show will broadcast on VON Radio and encourage the Rouse Foundation to do good work in the field of health. He also extended gratitude to Ursula Phillip for making this possible. Premier of Nevis said, ”Huge thanks to Ursula Phillip for making this possible. Please join the conversation as we work towards a healthier St Kitts and Nevis.”

He said that the conversation will focus on making healthier and better St Kitts and Nevis. The programme will cover several elements to reduce the risks of such diseases and problems so that the Federation can become a place of healthy people. 

The programme will target several topics to address major issues. The topics will be included: 

  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest will be the topic of the discussion of the programme
  • It will also showcase how an AED and CPR can help. 
  • The Show will also highlight the difference between Cardiac arrest and a heart attack. 
  • The reason behind the sudden cardiac arrest will also be determined in the programme. They will highlight how the COVID-19 vaccine effect sudden Cardiac Arrest.

The tips will also be shared regarding general heart health in the discussion.
