Nevis Island Administration to reopen schools in full capacity

The press release stated that, as such, students enrolled at the Charlestown Secondary School and the Gingerland Secondary Scholl will be longer be on the shift system, which was obtained during Terms One and Two of the 2021-2022 academic year.

St Kitts and Nevis: The Ministry of Education of the Nevis Island Administration has announced that all schools on Nevis will reopen in full capacity on Monday, April 25, 2022. 

In addition to that, Nevis Island Administration has also lifted the shift system from the schools and informed that the schools on the island could be opened in full instruction mode.

The press release stated that, as such, students enrolled at the Charlestown Secondary School and the Gingerland Secondary Scholl will be longer be on the shift system, which was obtained during Terms One and Two of the 2021-2022 academic year. 

Besides this, parents, guardians and students are asked to note that more information will be shared by the schools of the individuals. Students are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions and to be punctual. 

Additionally, as we transition, students are encouraged to obey the rules and guidelines provided by the school bus drivers and attendants as well as the school authorities. 

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to support the school authorities as we strive to provide the best and safest environment for our students.
