St Kitts and Nevis: The Nevis Island Administration has commenced the Financial Management Workshop on Friday, April 8, 2022, to educate the young generation of the island about the various approaches to business.

The workshop has been organized by Latoya Jones, who is a Special Advisor to the Premier of Nevis and the Leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement Mark Brantley. She was facilitated and supported by Mr. Calvin R Duggins, who is an investment Officer at ECCB.  

Latoya Jones stated that the Financial Management Workshop that is held on Friday, 8th April 2022 was a success. 

The workshop targeted youth 18-35 years from both the public and private sectors. The workshop sought to educate our youth on how to achieve financial success through proper management and diversification of resources.

As the Special Advisor to the Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley also highlighted the various topics that are covered in the Financial Management Workshop. She stated that the topics covered included budgeting, savings, investment, and wealth generation. 

While extending gratitude to various delegations of Nevis, the Special advisor to the Premier of Nevis noted, “I would like to thank the Premier’s Ministry, the Ministry of Tourism, the facilitator Mr. Duggins, participants, and everyone else who would have contributed to the success of the workshop.”
