Nevis celebrates mothers, Premier Brantley extends greetings on Mother’s Day

Leader of Concerned Citizens Movement and other members have been invited to the spot to celebrate the mothers of Nevis. Premier of Nevis also outlined the significance of the day and the sacrifices of the mothers.

Nevis: On the special occasion of Mother’s Day and in order to honour the mothers across the Nevis, Concerned Citizens Movement led Nevis Island Administration organized a special event at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park on Sunday, May 8, 2022. 

Leader of Concerned Citizens Movement and other members have been invited to the spot to celebrate the mothers of Nevis. Premier of Nevis also outlined the significance of the day and the sacrifices of the mothers.

Members such as Eric Evelyn and Spencer Brand have invited all out of the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park to celebrate mothers. 

Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley expressed greetings to the mothers of Nevis. He noted, “Today is a very special day set aside each year to celebrate our Mothers. Let us Today remember our mothers who not only gave birth to us but who nurtured and cared for us and made us who we are.”

Outlining the sacrifices of the mothers and their contribution to society, Mark Brantley stated that the country is what it is because of the immense contribution of the Mothers who have always been the backbone of our communities.

“I am honoured Today to wish ALL Mothers in Nevis in St Kitts and those abroad a truly wonderful Mother’s Day. May your day be filled with happiness and love, and may your children and other family members lavish you with affection and care on this very special day,” Brantley added. 

Paying tribute to the mother, Premier said that might Jehovah God bless all mothers and may his face continue to shine upon them.

He also wished her wife on occasion and said, “Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful wife Sharon Brantley and to ALL Mothers!! I love you.”

Premier Brantley and the entire CCM have organized events to pay tribute to the mothers of Nevis. He added that it was a wonderful day at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park. 

Brantley asserted, “What a wonderful event as the CCM celebrated the mothers of Nevis on this special Mother’s Day at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park. Thanks to all who worked so hard to make the event a resounding success. Thank you to the mothers who came out and made this affair truly special.”
