Nevis: Brantley meets Industry, Commerce Chamber Executive, discusses ways to promote business

St Kitts and Nevis: Mark Brantley- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation and Premier of Nevis, met with the new Executive of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce on the morning of Tuesday- March 29, 2022. 

While informing about the meeting, Premier Mark Brantley took his Facebook page and expressed the pleasure of having a discussion with the guests in St Kitts and Nevis.

He noted, “Held an excellent meeting with the new Executive of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce this morning.” 

The discussion featured various matters of concern for Nevis Island. Brantley discusses several areas, such as the enhancement of business and entrepreneurship in the country. The enlargement of the industries on the island was the key topic of the meeting.  

Further, they have also talked about other matters that are related to the development of the commerce sector in the country. Most of the revenue that is generated in the country is mostly based on the tourism sector. So, that’s why the natural beauty of Nevis island could fetch the attention of the businessmen, which could uplift the commerce sector of the country too. 

Premier of Nevis Brantley stated that they discussed the topic in which they have put various recommendations to settle down big industries in the Nevis island. 

The meeting also features the discussion on the renewed partnership between the Nevis Island Administration and, the business community in Nevis, and the wider Federation. 

To enhance business in the country, there is a great need for the settling of the industries. Further, Brantley also discussed the significance of the local business and local market, which would promote the island across the globe.

Premier Brantley further encouraged business owners and operators in Nevis to invest in the country and to join the Chamber. He also encouraged them to take advantage of numerous business opportunities, training, and development that are offered by the Nevis Island Administration.
