St Kitts and Nevis: Emerging as a fascinating destination, St Kitts and Nevis has turned out as an exceptional destination for tourists. The festival is celebrated for the entire one week, everyone as major events will be taken place from July 1 to July 3, 2022, onwards.

On July 1, 2022, the Mango Festival will be held at Cades Bay Fruit Orchard, and Nevis will witness an easy-breezy mango Saturday. Further, there will be events on the last day where the people of St Kitts and Nevis will enjoy the love of mangoes at Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park. The event will be included Food Demonstration, Chef’s Cooking Competition (St Kitts and Nevis), Mango Wellness Zone, and Mango 101 Zone.

Further, with the contests such as mango eating and cocktail competition, the festival will also engage the audience. Moreover, the culinary challenge will also prepare the mango-focus menus, which will be indeed all about the Mango.

Devon Liburd, the Nevis Tourism Authority’s interim CEO, proudly stated, “Mangoes are an integral part of the Nevisian cuisine as many different species are grown here. Each variety is known for its unique look, taste and texture. Every Nevisian believes the Mango Festival is the perfect way to experience a Caribbean vacation with a distinctively Nevisian flavour.”

The love for this fruit might be proved by every Nevisian who has at least a mango tree in their backyard. Every summer, Nevis literally witnesses the rain of mangoes and there are over forty-four different kinds available in Nevis with Amory Polly, Julie and Long being the most popular among locals as well as travellers.
