Roseau, Dominica: The Valley Hikers shared the profile of three players who will participate in the Dream 11 Nature Isle T10 Cricket Tournament of Dominica. The name of the players are Micah Kurnel Joseph, Vincent Lewis, and Kyne George who will showcase their cricketing skills at Windsor Park Sports Stadium from December 9 to 23, 2023.

Micah Kurnel Joseph

On draft day he finally became a Hiker, Micah Kurnel Joseph a former Windwards U15, U17 & U19 player has over the years demonstrated his ability to be a very reliable player. His ability to dominate the game with both bat and ball have made him one of the top all-rounders in Dominica. The secret to his quality is that he is still under 25.

Kurnel Joseph rise as a cricketer was expected as his hunger to improve his skills has made him a fan favorite and one of the most likable players in the locker room. Micah would say, “I am right handed batsman and a left arm spinner, I am a cricketer, a National Player.

When Asked what will he bring to The Valley Hikers, with a smile he responded, “I am the former nature boy of the Champagne Reef Divers, I bring leadership skills, experience, team success and my ability to score runs. Winning is a habit, being a Hiker will only enhance my drive to push my team mates to get the best out of them. My expectations are simple plays as team and win as team”. When asked if he had anything else to say, with his confident looking smile, he said, Oh yes, as Nature Boy I helped lead the team to win the championship in Edition 2. I am the ultimate team player and will do anything to help my team.

Vincent Lewis

When Vincent Lewis isn’t on national duties he represents the Nagico Sports Club. In 2023 his club won the first division where he was the top wicket taker by a fast bowler.

Vincent being a left arm swing bowler, is a gem to any franchise. His power hitting skills is something to admire as he have shown, he can take wickets and also score runs.

Vincent bring to the Hikers, in his words, “First off, I bring to the team a lot of experience. Being to two finals, although not winning any, I Know what it takes to get there. I’ll be the live wire in the field always maintaining a high level of energy, carrying my teammates with me. My goal is going all the way this time and win the competition. I plan on having an impact with both bat and ball when ever the opportunity comes. I know if I finish the season amongst the best in wickets and runs, it will have a huge impact on the success of the team. The plan is to do just so, with my leadership and the experience.

Kyne George

Kyne George a former Windward Island U 15, National U13, U15 and U19 youth player is one of the more excited Wicketkeeper Batsmen. Kyne is a current national U19 player.

On the Domestic circuit, he plays with his local club Nagico Northern Stars and was integral in the team’s championship run in 2023.

His ability to be part of successful teams is nothing knew as Kyne knows what it takes to win. He was part of a successful Parish team in a local T10 championship. While his diminutive stature is obvious, Kyne’s athletic skills is what stands out to everyone, as a multi-sport athlete kyne possesses the skill set of a leader, “THE FLOOR GENERAL”

Being no stranger to national T10 cricket, Kyne stated,

“I look forward to bringing to the team my intense energy and hunger to win from behind the stumps with the gloves and in the middle with the bat. While I intent to learn from the veterans, I also look to always maintain the energy. My motivational skills will help elevate my performances and that of my team mates to help the squad perform at our best and come out on top.
