Roseau, Dominica: Member of Parliamentary Representative of Grand Bay Constituency- Dr Vince Henderson delivered sporting gears and equipment to the Tete Morne Primary School on Friday, April 22, 2022. The donation of the sports equipment was given to the school from Tete Morne Disaster Relief Committee.
Dr Vince Henderson noted, “We recently delivered sporting gears and equipment from the Tete Morne Disaster Relief Committee to the Tete Morne Primary School.”
He further expressed gratitude to the committee and its members for supporting the country in uplifting the sports industry.
“I would like to extend special thanks to Mr Edmund Tavenier, who is a member of the executive committee and resides in Boston, “wrote MP Dr Vince Henderson.
Vince Henderson also urged the young generation of Dominica to practise more sports as it will help boost the person’s stamina and strength.
In addition to that, he also encouraged the youth of the country not to get scared of failures and always work hard for success.
While encouraging youth, Dr Vince Henderon emphasized, “As I urge the youth to practice more sportsmanship, I would also like to remind them to never be afraid of failure but be determined to succeed.”
He further stated that every champion was one go through the fear of failure, but their spirit to not give up makes them a champion.
“Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up,” he added.
Dr Vince Henderson is continually helping the people of Dominica; last week, in order to facilitate the elderly people of the Commonwealth of Dominica with their basic needs the livelihoods, Vince Henderson- Parliament Representative from Grand Bay constituency, delivered the food hampers to the elderly people on Friday, April 15, 2022.
The initiatives have been taken under the “Yes We Care Programme “to provide basic needs to the people of the constituency. People could find all the necessary items for the elderly which included various types of food items and cleaning supplies.
