Montserrat: Two footballers receive scholarships for higher studies in United Kingdom

Montserrat: Two Footballers from the Montserrat National Youth Football Teams were Awarded scholarships.

Following the 3rd annual CAF player identification combine held in Antigua from 31st January to 4th February 2022 which was attended by various coaches, the Coaches from Hartpury College Academy in the UK extended offers to Jermahri Meade and Vashirn Roache to continue their studies with the College while partaking in football activities. 

The Montserrat Football Association Inc. (MFA Inc.) recognizes the importance of educational development for our players both on and off the field. In support of their new endeavor, MFA Inc. will provide full payment for both individuals in support of accommodation costs and Meals. 

Jermahri and Vashirn departed Montserrat for the United Kingdom on Tuesday 6th September 2022. Vashirn would be pursuing a two-year BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Exercise and Sport Science. while Jermahri will pursue general A – levels in Mathematics, physics, and physical education.

The Montserrat Football Association Inc. wishes both Jermahri and Vashirn all the best for every step of their journey.
