Montserrat: Access Division shares “Cargo Service Update” for May and June 2022

Montserrat: The Access Division, Office of the Premier of Montserrat, shared an update on the schedule regarding service. The Cargo Service is provided by Typhoon Express and shares the entire schedule. 

The schedule below outlines the operation days for the Cargo Service facilitated by the Typhoon Express. 

The dates scheduled for the Crago ships are May 31, 2022, and June 16 and 30, 2022. 

The Access Divison also shared information and stated that all cargo must be delivered to the agent in Antigua by the day before sail day by 4 pm. 

In addition to that, Perishables can also be delivered on the same day of operations by 9 am. 

However, the operating days are submitted to change. A further update on a change of operation is issued by the GIU and Radion Montserrat ZJB. 

The Access Division, Office of The Premier, would like to inform the general public of the following change in the schedule regarding cargo service provided by the Typhoon Express.

• Due to the upcoming Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations, the next cargo operations will be done on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
• The next cargo operation is scheduled for Thursday, June 16 and June 30, 2022.
• Cargo operations by the Typhoon Express have still been conducted on a twice per month basis.

Due to the change in service, all paperwork must be delivered to the agent in Antigua by 4 pm Monday, May 30, the day before departing Antigua. Only perishable and large commercial items will be accepted on the day of departure up until 9 am.

 The operation schedule is subject to change due to any unforeseen conditions.
