Miss Dominica 2023 contestants visit Costa Fascinosa, experience cruise season

The contestants of Miss Dominica 2023 visited the Costa Fascinosa to experience the cruise season of the Nature Isle on Saturday, February 4, 2023

Roseau, Dominica: The contestants of Miss Dominica 2023 visited the Costa Fascinosa to experience the cruise season of the Nature Isle on Saturday, February 4, 2023. The captain and crew of this Italian cruise ship, which welcomes guests from France, Italy, and Portugal, greeted the team.

The Dominica Festivals and Discover Dominica teams were joined by some of Miss Dominica’s 2023 contestants to tour the Costa Fascinosa. The 2000+ ship also features a full theatre for live productions, two swimming pools, a casino, an ice-cream restaurant, and multiple dining areas, both indoors and outdoors.

Dominica Festivals also dropped the snapshots from the cruise visit, offering our 2023 queen contestants an opportunity to learn engagement skills and experience the cruise season in Dominica. 

Ministry of Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives also shared glimpses of the visit and stated, “Miss Dominica contestants visited the Costa Fascinosa, experiencing Dominica’s cruise season. The captain and crew of this Italian ship welcome guests from France, Italy, Portugal, and more.” 

The Commonwealth of Dominica will host the Miss Dominica pageant this February 16 2023, at Carnival City as part of the Carnival- Mas Domnik 2023. All Five Queen Contestants vying for Miss Dominica Carnival Queen Title 2023 have officially launched in their respective villages! Each launch was special, allowing the contestants to boost confidence in their community, sponsors, and family. 

Dominica Festivals also asked people to attend the pageant and noted, “Everyone is eager to know who will be Dominica’s next Queen. Don’t wait for a post on social media to find out. Attend the show at the Carnival City on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, cheering your next Queen.” 

Tickets are available online in person at DDA/DFC office in Roseau. Ministry of Tourism also welcomed the people in February, the month of the much-anticipated Real Mas. As the countdown to the ultimate celebration of culture, fun, and excitement begins, people can scroll through the snapshot of carnival events that took place last month. 

There will be various events for the Dominica Carnival 2023 and people can get their tickets for Sunrise, Queen Show, Calypso, Viva, Pinknic, Opulence, and more in time to join the country for all the events set to take place in the month of Febraury.
