Mexica donated ventilators to T&T 

The government of Mexica has donated two ventilators to Trinidad and Tobago in order to strengthen the health services at this time of the pandemic. 

Trinidad and Tobago: The government of Mexica has donated two ventilators to Trinidad and Tobago in order to strengthen the health services at this time of the pandemic. 

The donation of ventilators was received by the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs – Senator Amery Browne. He asserted, “Today, on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, I received two ventilators donated by the Mexican government to fortify the capacity of our health services at this time.”

“The gratitude of T&T was warmly conveyed to the Executive Director of the Mexican Agency for International Development and the Mexican Defense Force General who accompanied her. Their military transport flight then continued to Guyana and several other countries in South America for further deliveries of ventilators.”

The government of Trinidad and Tobago has appreciated the efforts and thanked the Mexican government for standing with T&T in this crucial time. 

T&T government has also announced the scheduled rollout for the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. The citizens are required to come to the vaccination site with their immunization card and national id’s. 

The location is Paddock area Queen’s Park Savannah from 8 am to 4 pm. 

Following is the schedule for the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine– 

  • Those who received their first dose on 6 to 10 April would get their second jab of the vaccine on 7 to 9 June. 
  • Those who received their first dose on 12 to 15 April would get their second jab of the vaccine on 10 to 11 June.
  • Those who received their first dose on 16 to 20 April would get their second jab of the vaccine on 14 to 15 June. 
  • Those who received their first dose on 21 to 23 April would get their second jab of the vaccine on 16 to 18 June. 
  • Those who received their first dose on 24 to 25 April would get their second jab of the vaccine on 21 to 24 June. 
  • Those who have received their first dose from 26 April to 5 June would get their second jab of the vaccine on 25 to 30 June.
