Europe: Elena Kountoura- Member of the European Parliament, met with Panagiotis Georgiadis, representative of the INKA Consumer Institute, in Brussels on Friday, January 28, 2023. During the meeting, she discussed various matters of concern related to Greek consumers.
MEP Elena Kountoura took to Facebook and cited, “My meeting today in Brussels with Panagiotis Georgiadis representative of the INKA Consumer Institute. We discussed the important problems Greek consumers are facing today and they are directly related to the precision wave.”
She also shared an update on her speech in European Parliament which was based on domestic violence. Kountoura added that at the European Parliament, my event was on domestic violence. Among the guest speakers is the UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, Reem Alsalem.
Her event on domestic violence comes at the time the European Parliament is forming its position on the proposed community directive submitted by the Commission.
Among the guest speakers is the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women, Arim Alsalem. The aim is to highlight the truly explosive dimensions of the impact of domestic violence and custody rights on women and children and propose solutions that would improve the Commission’s Guidance
Criticism at the Commission that undermines the role and rights of taxi drivers and passengers against powerful technological colosses promoting uberization, said SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance MEP Elena Kountoura, speaking at the Plenary of the European Parliament.

MEP Kountoura also attended as a guest speaker at the Congress of Representatives of Spain, SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance MEP and European Parliament Rapporteur on the Road Safety Resolution Report, Elena Kountoura, presented her work and the priorities of the European Parliament with the ultimate goal of achieving the vision of zero losses Vision Zero in the EU by 2050.
