Europe: Elena Kountoura- Member of the European Parliament, attended the event of OM SYRIZA-PS Megaron on “Gender Violence” with the Psychologist – Social Worker Spyros Sountis and the Professor of the University of West Attica Lilian Antoniou.
At the event of OM SYRIZA-PS Megaron, she informed about her work in the EU in the protection of women and children victims of domestic violence, prevention and the need to change mentality to eliminate gender-based violence from its roots.
MEP Elena Kountoura also attended the panel of today’s extraordinary event of OM SYRIZA-PS Megara on “Civil Violence” with Psychologist – Social Worker Spyros Saundis and Professor of the University of Western Attica Lilian Antoniou.
At the event, MEP Kountoura informed about her work at E E in the protection of women and children victims of domestic violence, prevention and the need for a change of mindset to eliminate domestic violence from its root.
She also met with the Coordinator of the Prefectural Committee SYRIZA-PS of Western Attica Yannis Meimarakis and the coordinator of OM Megara Pipina Katsoulari, at the excellent event in Megara, where she was a speaker on the critical issue of gender violence.
“The main priorities in road safety in the European Union were presented by SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance MEP Elena Kountoura, as a speaker at the opening of the EU Commission Road Safety Results 2022 conference in Brussels,”said the MEP.
Elena Kountoura also attended the event of “Elimination of violence against women” of NE SYRIZA-PS North Athens in Chalandri with Angeliki Papazoglou, Anneta Kavadias, Spyros Lappa, Kiki Petroulaki, Panos Skourletis and Olga Stefou.
At the information event of NE SYRIZA-PS of North Athens, she spoke about my European interventions in the protection of women and children victims of violence and the need for a radical change in mentality.
She added, “We discussed the success of the WTTC Summit in Riyadh, where I participated as an invited speaker, the global actions for sustainability in tourism and the role of the STGC Center as well as new plans and initiatives of the #WTTC in SE Europe.”
