Roseau, Dominica: The Parliamentary Representative of Roseau Constituency Melissa Popoone Skerrit has donated schools bags and supplies to the parents of the students who are returning to schools after the COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday, March 17, 2022.
Melissa Skerrit stated that they had delivered school types of equipment to the parents and students who needed these pieces of equipment a lot in the Roseau Central constituency.
She further encouraged students and parents to send their children to the school and also wished them the best of luck.

Melissa Skerrit stated that the team of Roseau Central is distributing schools equipment to the students for the reopening of the schools in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
She noted, “My hardworking Roseau Central team is on the move again”.
Melissa Skerrit emphasized that the doors of the school in Dominica have reopened, and that’s why the government is delivering much-needed schools bags and supplies to the parents and students of the country.
The donation has been made to ensure that every child gets an education and no one could feel halted of education due to these essential things.

She affirmed, “The schools’ doors have reopened; therefore, we are delivering much needed school bags and supplies to our parents and students”.
Melissa Skerrit also wished the students to significantly attend the schools or education institutes.
“I wish our students all the best for the rest of the school year. Go with God,” underscored Melissa Skerrit.
Earlier, the Parliamentary Representative of Roseau Constituency Melissa Poponne Skerrit expressed gratitude and lauded a few diasporans, namely Avondale Paul and Lloyd Paul, for donating the tennis equipment to the sports tourism programme and Roseau Central Tennis Programme. On Monday, March 14, 2022, Member of Parliament Melissa Skerrit informed about the donation and stated that she always wanted a bolster in the sports tourism of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
While stating her intention regarding the sports industry of Dominica, Melissa Skerrit noted that she had always wanted to revive lawn tennis in the city and to develop sports tourism. As sports tourism always help the government to boost economic growth and also encourages the citizens of the country to understand the importance of Sports.
