A man was reportedly hit by a tube (London Underground) at the South Kensington station at around 10 pm on Saturday. Following the incident, the station was closed and all trains passing were asked to move at 5MPH.

The Transport for London reported that in District Line, there is no service between Aldgate East and Earl’s Court as it deals with a casualty on the track.

As per reports, the incident occurred at about 10:10 pm when a man got hit by a tube. Fire services and paramedics were immediately called on the spot.

Following the incident, passengers at the Victoria Underground Station were asked to disembark from the Wimbledon train, which also passes through the South Kensington station. All passengers were asked to take the next train to the Green Park station and get on a Piccadilly line service to reach their destination.

The suspension of the train also led to anguish in some passengers, who were seen getting into arguments with the Underground personnel. Many people are unable to get to their destinations due to major delays in trains.

The London Underground is the most widely used method of transportation which is spread between different zones. The people, who had been enjoying their game nights at pubs and restaurants are now stranded, and forced to take long bus rides. It is not yet clear as when the service will restart.
