St Kitts has experienced a successful cruise season in 2023 as the country has welcomed 687,958 cruise passengers this year. It marked an increase of 123 per cent in comparison to the 2021- 2022 season.

May 2023 has been packed with promotions and exciting opportunities for St Kitts as it gears up for what promises to be a rich summer experience. As a tourist destination, St Kitts garnered significant attention just a few months after its new brand campaign, reinforcing the need for the St Kitts Tourism Authority to seize opportunities to promote and drive travel to the island through discussions with various airline services and associate partners.

Students attending the Nathaniel John Hospitality Centre at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College ventured onboard Harmony of The Seas for insightful discussions surrounding the cruise industry as well as a touring session of the vessel.

Present at today’s proceedings was Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism, who was especially grateful to Royal Caribbean Group as her team continues to invest in human capital development.

“The cruise industry continues to play an integral role in our tourism industry and the economy. You can interact with people from around the world while gaining transferable experience and skills. Our youths are the future of tourism, and I implore our young people to educate themselves about the tourism industry as it undoubtedly brings forth incredible professional and personal benefits,” remarked Minister Henderson.
