St Kitts and Nevis: Ministry of Public Infrastructure of St Kitts and Nevis announced the results of the Energy Month Primary School Quiz Preliminary Round

At the end of the Energy Month Primary School Quiz Preliminary Round held today, Thursday, November 10th, here are the winners for each zone:

  • West Zone – Tyrell Williams Primary
  • East Zone – Saddlers Primary
  • Basseterre Zone – Immaculate Conception Catholic School

The Ministry of Public Infrastructure extended Congratulations to all the schools who have advanced to the finals, scheduled for Thursday, November 17th.

The Ivor Walters Primary School is the lone school from the Nevis Zone. They will automatically advance to the finals.

The other participating schools included:

  • Sandy Point Primary
  • St. Pauls Primary
  • Dieppe Bay Primary
  • Ross Preparatory
  • Cayon Primary
  • Deane Glasford Primary
  • Dr. William Connor Primary
  • Tucker Clark Primary

Further, the Parliamentary Representative from Constituency #6, Denzil Douglas, also extended greetings to the winners of the quiz competition. 

At the conclusion of the East Zone preliminary round of the Energy Month Primary School Quiz, which took place today, November 10th, Saddlers Primary emerged victorious. Zahlika Nolan, Desrian Williams, and Hailey Chandler were the individuals who formed the SPS team. Nevertheless, Zahlika Nolan and Desrian Williams were the students who represented them earlier today.

“Help us extend warmest congratulations to Saddlers Primary School for achieving first place, and we wish them the very best in the championship round, which will be held on Thursday, November 17th, “said the minister. 

He also want to express his gratitude to the coaches, Natasha Forde, Rondine Francis, and Jolanie Johnson, for the excellent job they did in preparing the pupils for the competition. 

Earlier, St Kitts and Nevis also hosted the Department of Cooperatives Primary School Quiz 2022. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine of St Kits shared the highlights from Wednesday’s Department of Cooperatives Primary School Quiz 2022.

These photos show winners and participants who competed in the Basseterre Zone.

  • 1st place: Immaculate Conception Catholic School- Kadmiel Davis and Natalie Henry. Natalie received a commendable perfect score.
  • 2nd place: Beach Allen Primary School- Xavier Payen and Liandre Liddie.

The Ministry extended congratulations to all the winners who will compete for the championship trophy at the finals on Tuesday, November 15th, at the CUNA Caribbean Conference Centre.

The Ministry also announced the result of the East Zone category of the preliminary round of the fourth annual St. Kitts Nevis National Co-operative League-sponsored Department of Co-operatives Primary School Quiz.

  • 1st place: Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School- Joash Davis and Ajhannyae Stoke.
  • Joash Davis received a perfect score.
  • 2nd place: Saddlers Primary School- Victor Pereira and Jamari Liburd

These top performers will join schools in the West and Basseterre Zones to battle for the top spot at the finals on Tuesday, November 15th, at the CUNA Caribbean Conference Centre.
