KNOW HERE: Fringe events of St Kitts Music Festival held over Whit Weekend

The fun of the Whit weekend featured exciting fringe events for St Kitts Music Festival 2023. The events featured Triple Header Sunday and Grand Finale Monday, creating unique and entertaining vibes across the island nation

St Kitts and Nevis: The fun of the Whit weekend featured exciting fringe events for St Kitts Music Festival 2023. The events featured Triple Header Sunday and Grand Finale Monday, creating unique and entertaining vibes across the island nation. 

St Kitts Music Festival took to Facebook and stated,” The fun of the Whit weekend is far from finished. Let’s keep the excitement going strong.” 

TRIPLE HEADER SUNDAY: 

  • St Kitts and Nevis Athletics- SKN Athletics Club Championships: The event was held at Nevis Athletics Stadium on May 28, 2023, at 1: 00 pm. The admission fee was $10XCD. 
  • Raw Bac Beach Bbq: The event featured Akaii USweet, Stadics, Street Vybez, Evolution HD, Rucas N David House, DJ Cut I, KT Dan, DJ Slimz, DJ Smoke, DJ Rocky G and Outta Statia. The admission fee was free, and food and drinks were on sale. The event was held on Cockleshell Beach. 
  • Green Valley Festival: The festival was held at Maynard’s Park, Cayon and hosted by EK. The event featured the stelling performance by Fahmiel, Jed Soundz, Deejaay Smudge, DJ Dangles, Heel Fire International, DJ Rinch, Imark, Dejour, Ease Out, Akaii U Sweet, KT Dan, Fifty and Skope, and NU VYBZ Band International.

GRAND FINALE MONDAY: 

  • Breaking Dawn by Inception Fate: The event will be held at Carambola Beach Club from 4 am to 1 pm. The live performances will entertain the audience and make them experience exceptional offerings of St Kitts and Nevis. The performers will be LYRIKAL, Travis World, Mr Mention and Dejour, Akaii U Sweet, Rucas HE and David House, Hell Fire International and Sister Sensia and DJ Shabz and DJ Smudge. The event will be hosted by The Hypeman. 

Earlier, St Kitts hosted three fringe events of the Music Festival, which are as follows: 

  • Green Valley Festival: The event was held at Cayon, St Kitts, on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 9 am to 11 pm. The music was presented by Various DJs. The event featured Fruits and Vegetables, Fashion Accessories, Local Food Dishes, Makeup and Body Care, Animal and Life Stock and Health and Wellness.
  • Federal Netball League: St Kitts Nevis Netball Association hosted the League on May 27, 2023. The opening ceremony of the league at 4: 30 pm was held at Pam Tyson Netball Stadium. The participating teams were Kascab Coca-Cola Shamrock Netball Club, Revivorz Liamuiga Housing Development Auqua Ballerz, New Town Netball Club, Bath United Netball Club and Saddlers Ball Stars. The games will be played on both St Kitts and Nevis.
