St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis Football Association announced the fixtures of “GOLD CUP GROUP STAGE”. Following the victory against the French Guiana in prelims round, the Sugar Boyz set to return on this Gold Cup journey with group-stage matches across the United States.
The Group stage matches will feature three matches for the GOLD CUP.
KNOW HERE: Fixtures of St Kitts and Nevis Gold Cup Group Stage
- The first match will be held between Trinidad and Tobago and St Kitts and Nevis on Sunday, June 25, 2023. The venue for the match is DRV Pink Stadium, Fort Lauderdale and timing is 3: 30 pm.
- St Kitts and Nevis will play its second match against the United States on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. The venue for the match is CITY Park, St Louis and timing is 9: 30 pm.
- The third match will be held between Jamaica and St Kitts and Nevis on Sunday, July 2, 2023. The venue for the match is Levi’s Stadium, Sanita Clara and the timing for the match is 7: 00 pm.
St Kitts and Nevis Football Association said,”On to the next step: The Sugar Boyz will begin their Concacaf Gold Cup campaign versus Trinidad and Tobago this Sunday. Let’s continue to support our Sugar Boyz. SKN Proud.”
The Sugar Boyz have qualified for the Concacaf Gold Cup for the very first time in history. They defeated French Guiana 4-2 on penalties to clinch the spot in the tournament.
Mervin Lewis scored the penalty shot that gave St Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) their first ticket in Gold Cup group stage history. Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, St Kitts and Nevis, Haiti, Martinica, Cuba and Guadeloupe are the Caribbean countries to advance in the group stage of the 2023 Gold Cup.
SKNFA extended greeting to Jacob Hazel and St. Kitts and Nevis, who have qualified for the Gold Cup Group Stage for the first time. St Kitts and Nevis will face USA, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago, between 25th June and 2nd July.
