Kashmiri young engineer- Haider Ali Punjabi has updated his app called “Iftar Kar” this Ramzan. The app was launched three years ago by Punjabi to tell the exact time of Iftar and Suhoor and become one of the useful sources for the people who fast during the month of Ramzan.

Jammu and Kashmir, India: Kashmiri young engineer- Haider Ali Punjabi has updated his app called “Iftar Kar” this Ramzan. The app was launched three years ago by Punjabi to tell the exact time of Iftar and Suhoor and become one of the useful sources for the people who fast during the month of Ramzan.
Foreign users are also using the app along with users from Kashmir. Launching in 2020, the app provides timely information regarding the timing of Suhoor and Iftar during the month of Ramzan. The app was developed while keeping in mind the geography of the valley, but he has further upgraded this application.
Outlining the details of the app, Haider Ali stated that his friends have requested him to do something so that they can efficiently benefit from it. Paving the path, he stated that he worked on it and updated the app so that it could provide users with timely information about iftar and suhoor timings. The app will also be based on geographical locations.
The updated version of the app will provide timely notification of Suhoor and Iftar time so that people obtain correct information from the app in any corner of the world. The founder stated that last year, they received nearly two million views with more than 15 thousand users, and the Kashmiri community, especially the youth have been using the app.
He said that the app named “Iftar Kar”, the iftar and Suhoor calendar of Jafaria Fiqh and Al al-Hadith are available along with the timings issued by Darul Rahimiya. He stated that Punjabi have updated the location criteria in the app as it is showing the district-wise location-wise calendars of Sehri and Iftar and people benefited from it.
On his future plan, Haider Ali said that he is also working on an Islamic app which will provide the service to the users such as update about prayer times, Quran recitation and other things.
