Jamaica: Kamina Johnson Smith- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, expressed pleasure in celebrating the 28th anniversary of Freedom Day in South Africa. 

She celebrated freedom day with Lumka Yengeni from South Africa, her team called Missionaries of the Poor and the children at Bethlehem House. Through her social media post, she extended warm wishes and blessings to the people of South Africa on their Freedom Day. 

Kamina Johnson Smith noted, “I recently celebrated the 28th anniversary of South Africa’s Freedom Day with H.E. Lumka Yengeni, her team, the Missionaries of the Poor and the wonderful children at Bethlehem House. We reflected on ‘s social inclusion journey based on the dignity of each and every life.”

Kamina Johnson Smith applauded South Africa for turning into a global leader in the fight against wrongdoings through their determination to empower each and every citizen and set a perfect example of unity. 

While condemning South Africa, Kamina Smith stated, “South Africa has emerged as a global leader through its determination to unite and empower each and every citizen while rising above the legacy of apartheid.”

She further hailed President Cyril Ramaphosa for his incredible work and commitment to the South-South co-op and for making the country efficiently that could raise their multilateral and matter of concern across the globe. 

Kamina Smith said that President Ramaphosa always voiced equitable and fair treatment for all countries and built the image of South Africa across the globe.

She further wished every blessing and positivity to the people of South Africa on behalf of Jamaica and added that God granted many years of strong and productive relations with the Caribbean country. 

Kamina Smith asserted, “On behalf of a grateful #Jamaica, I acknowledged the zeal and humility with which the #MOP positively impact countless lives. May God continue to bless the missionaries and those they serve, and may God grant many more years of strong and productive relations.”
