Roseau, Dominica: Jungle Bay Dominica extended greetings on the occasion of Christmas and applauded the wonderful guests who made 2022 a memorable year. Jungle Bay hosted Tibetan monk Rinchen, their “Geshela” (Professor of Buddhism), for most of 2022.
They outlined the exciting experience with them and extended greetings in warm words, which are as follows:
Seasons Greetings from Jungle Bay to all our friends, including the wonderful guests who made 2022 a memorable year. Our lush tropical garden is beginning to feel like the Garden of Eden with a generous array of tropical fruits, ornamental flowers and healing herbs.
We were fortunate to host our very special Tibetan monk, Rinchen our “Geshela” (Professor of Buddhism) for most of 2022. He taught us that the four pillars of a healthy life are 1. Good sleep 2.healthy foods 3.daily exercise and 4.a stress free outlook on life! As we journey onto 2023 we should all seek to improve our quality of life with the teachings of our friendly Monk and teacher.
Did you know we have started a Community Fundraising Challenge? Soufriere Village needs a new pre-school so we are helping them to achieve this by Aug. 2023! We extend huge thanks to those who have already contributed and we are still seeking to raise the balance of $85,000 USD to meet their goal. Let us know if you wish to learn more.

There’s so much that I could say about our trip to Dominica, but my baby sister covered a lot of it so beautifully in her post already. We were blessed to witness so many examples of exemplary leadership and selflessness. Fortunate to hear so much wisdom and encouragement from amazing people from all over the world, all in one place. Thanks to all of them for expanding my mind and enriching my soul.
We appreciate Diony and Nadine with Easy Bootcamp and Sam, Joanne, Nancy, and all of the staff at Jungle Bay Dominica sooo much. To all of the beautiful ladies, we had so much fun, enjoyed every hike, and conversation along the way. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year.
