Jammu and Kashmir, India: Jammu and Kashmir have been witnessing the soothing music and tunes of rapper 31-year-old Mir Ghazanfar, known on stage as SXR. The inspirational story of his success and hard work presented the valley in the position of development once again.
Another success story from the valley has evidently shown that the youth of Kashmir emerged as an inspiration for others with their admirable work in different fields such as education, science, art, sports, and singing.
SXR with his determination and willpower showed the unique power of Kashmiris. However, like other success stories, his journey was also not so easy. He has been rapping since 2011 and launched with the romantic song written in Kashmiri and English ‘Mama Loa Go (Mama Pyaar Hogya)’. He received huge support from his family and parents, yet was opposed by society.
SXR added that his parents along with his friends are also quite happy. While expressing his life moments, he said that he started recording the events and past moments around him in his own style since his school days. He was inspired by local rapper MC Cash and started writing raps. Then Ghazanfar (his childhood name) went to Delhi and took musical training and learned the complete code of rap.
However, he faced many difficulties in Delhi, but with his discrimination and willpower, he overcame all the difficulties and secured success in his goal. He became one of the hip-hop singers of the valley and released albums that have left a mark.
SXR hailed from Srinagar and get admission as an engineering student and has not been able to complete his studies. He also pens down his thoughts and also writes about his environment in his own style and then makes it in rap form with music.
While appreciating the work of SXR, his fans stated that “Zarmna Durar”, “Kashar Nizam”, “Shulkh” and “Shahjaar” are some of his great albums. These albums are very popular and is working on his new video.
