interCaribbean Airways announced the new flights from Havana (Cuba) to Providenciales Turks and Caicos, and onward connections to Nassau and the Eastern Caribbean- Antigua, Barbados, Georgetown in Guyana, Dominica, Saint Lucia, St Vincent and Grenada.

Caribbean: interCaribbean Airways announced the new flights from Havana (Cuba) to Providenciales Turks and Caicos, and onward connections to Nassau and the Eastern Caribbean- Antigua, Barbados, Georgetown in Guyana, Dominica, Saint Lucia, St Vincent and Grenada.

The schedule of the flights will come into effect on April 25, 2023. While sharing the update, interCaribbean Airways stated that in order to celebrate their vacation in the Caribbean Island, people can choose the airways.

It added,” Hola Havana! New Havana flights are effective April 25, 2023. Fly from Havana Cuba to Providenciales Turks and Caicos, and onward connections to Nassau and the Eastern Caribbean: Antigua, Barbados, Georgetown in Guyana, Dominica, St Lucia, St Vincent, and Grenada.”

The new flights of interCaribbean airways will fly from Havana to:

  • Turks and Caicos (Non-stop)
  • Nassau (One stop, change plane)
  • Antigua (One stop, same plane)
  • Barbados (Two stops, same plane)
  • Guyana (Three stops, same plane)
  • St Vincent (Three stops, change plane)
  • Grenada (Three stops, change plane)
  • Saint Lucia (Three stops, change plane)
  • Dominica (Three stops, change plane)

The island nations of the Caribbean will host several festivals, events, and celebrations in the upcoming days. Dominica is all set to host Jazz and Creole Festival and the airways will be helpful for the visitors to visit the country and enjoy the celebration nights in the nature isle. Along with that, Antigua is also gearing up for Carnival 2023 which will feature music, stage shows, pageantry, and much more.

Saint Lucia also announced the staging of the Jazz and Art Festival to celebrate the artistes of the country. Hence, the airways will connect the Caribbean and make travellers explore the vibrant culture of the region with the different festivities of the island nations.

interCaribbean Airway’s slogan is “Connecting you and the Caribbean”. The company began in 1991 as Inter Island Airways operating a single aircraft. In 2003 the Turks and Caicos Islands pushed toward regional and international development, and with that a renaming of the company to “Air Turks & Caicos”.

This was the beginning of international flights and the operation of larger aircraft. Still, the only scheduled airline serving all the Outer Islands today, 2013 rebranded interCaribbean Airways serves key Caribbean international destinations, with scheduled flights to cities in Antigua, Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Dominica, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten and St Lucia and now services to Barbados, Grenada, St Vincent and Georgetown in Guyana, South America. Domestic flights are offered in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

interCaribbean has become the leading regional airline serving more destinations across the Caribbean than any airline. interCaribbean Airways flies to 22 cities and now expanding to 27. The company operates ten 30-passenger Embraer 120 Brasilia with flight attendant service, four 50-passenger Embraer JET ERJ145, a 19-seat Twin Otter and one 9-passenger Britten Norman Islander. The company remains a private company since its founding.
