India: Union Home Minister of India- Amit Shah, visited Jammu and Kashmir- a union territory in the country, to meet the families who lost their loved ones in the recently reported terror attack in the Rajouri district of UT.

Amit Shah arrived in Jammu on Friday. The prime reason for his official visit to the Union Territory was to conduct the meeting and interact with the families of those killed in the terror attack in Rajouri. The report on the security situation of Kashmir Kashmiri was given by LG Manoj Sinha to Home Minister Amit Shah.

Home Minister Shah will visit the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. During his visit, he will review the ground situation of the district and take full note of the place with the security forces.

The visit of the Home Minister Shah comes at a time when Rajouri district has reported the incident of terror attacks. The attack caused the death of seven people.

As per the sources, Shah will visit the place where the incident had taken place. His visit will feature his meeting with the families of civilians killed in these incidents. During his visit, he will listen to the families of kin and assure them of full support for them

According to the reports, the Upper Dangri village in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed the two terror attacks. In these attacks, six civilians including two children were killed. Many people got injured in this incident on January 1 and 2, 2023.

The same vicinity in Rajouri has reported the incident of the suspected improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast on January 2 morning. The incident claimed the lives of two children. On January 1, 2023, four people were gunned down in a different incident.

After reaching the incident spot, Home Minister Shah will host an interactive engagement with the families of the victims to extend hands of support. He will also visit DhShangrio to inspect the site of the terror and outline the combating measures.

During his visit, he hosted a high-level meeting with the officials of the UT on Friday, January 13, 2023.

The meeting featured a discussion on the issues related to the security of Jammu and Kashmir. Amit Shah took the notice of every protocol and measure implemented by the security personnel of the Union territory. He was given the proper analysis of the situation of J and K.

The meeting was also attended by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha. Home Minister Amit Shah also called a meeting with the top leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bhartiya Janata Party at his residence in the national capital. The purpose of the meeting is to analyze the overall situation of Jammu and Kashmir and take note of the recent terror attacks in the valley.
